Photography 101 – Fairy Cave
It seemed ages since our last photography session with CK so when news came from Dtg that CK was thinking of taking us to Fairy Cave on the 6th, it was greeted with much excitement.
CK came to collect us just after 830 am and everyone was in good spirits because, despite the rain we’ve been getting all week, Sunday had dawned bright and sunny day.
About 3/4 of the way, we “kidnapped” Gladys at Tondong (a village 3/4 of the way to Bau), which turned out to be a fantastic thing for 2 reasons. First, Gladys introduced us to some yummycheapalicious kolo mee at Tondong. Secondly, at Fairy Cave she was the de facto guide who pointed out all the sweet shooting angles for us. So glad you came in the end woman.
The result of some 3+ hours of shooting:

Oh yeah, sorry no pictures of the Tondong kolo mee. When it comes to good food, photography takes a back seat. Heh.
Despite his initial hemming and hawing, the brother eventually decided to tag along. Good thing too otherwise he would have missed out on the chance of taking these nice shots and learning that Tondong has yummy kolo mee. Silly boy, told him it would be worth him getting up early on a Sun morning.
CK’s photos are here and Gladys’ here.
Update:
And last but not least, Dtg’s pictures here.

Say what?
