I is Triton 3.2L, hear me ROAR!

After dinner with Ms Wong and Mr Loh on Friday night with Wombok & gang, we woke bright and early the next day to catch the official launching ceremony of the 2 new Mitsubishi Triton variants at Kg Apar-Segong, Singai. Truth be told, I’m suffering from mental fatique at the moment and can’t really be bothered to write a full wordy review of how the day went. So thank god for visual aids. :-)

Launch day had all the perfect ingredients to make it a great day, such as:

1. Perfect weather

2. Mean machines

3. Car girls (!) (from Kuching!!) :-P

4. Native beauties

5. And above all, good company.

The highlight of the day was of course, getting to test drive the new Mitsubishi Triton 3.2L off road and we all had a go with the auto version. Here is Dtg having first go with me as the backseat passenger:

Wombok also had a turn at the wheel with me covering from the sidelines:

If you gather anything from the videos, it would be – thank goodness the vehicle  comes with rear seat belts. Haha.

Now I wish I could talk to you about the lorry’s specs and all, but much as I am deeply in love with speed, I’m sooooooooo not a technical girl. I think it stems from my ‘love’ relationship with all things maths. :-P Suffice to say, it was a really powerful beast because we had no problems conquering the mud despite it being an auto model. Just recalling the engine roar as I smashed through the rickety mud bridge still gives me the shivers actually. I thought it was gonna transform into some rocket jet and fly off the track! :-P Ok ok, so I exaggerate about the rocket flying bit, but do picture it as a steering wheel which is as light as a butterfly kiss, being tethered to the might of an elephant engine.

I’ve been faced with some persuasion to buy it but the PA doesn’t think lawyers and lorries go together.  :-P I will keep the Boss somewhat happy though by at least saying that if you want to get your hands on one of these “mean machine so fast and furious large pick-up”, East Malaysia dealers may be found here.

Thanks again to Ellis, Loh and Mariana for a fantastic experience. It’s not everday that we legal eagles get to mess about in the mud. ;-)

Agi Idup Agi Ngelaban

Grab shot right outside my bedroom window one evening. The birds appear a little blurry, but that’s coz I didn’t have time to set up a tripod what since it was a spontaneous shot. :-P

Anyways, whoopdedoo it’s a 4-day weekend here again! :-D So happy holidays for y’all Sarawakians who are lucky enough to live and work in Sarawak (that would exclude youse, Ms Wong and Ms Tiu. Muahahahahahas! ;-) ). Back on Wednesday. Till then, Gayu Guru Gerai Nyamai!
